When I started No Sidebar, I had done so with a different mindset than I have now. At the beginning, No Sidebar had a literal interpretation in my mind, and it came about from a design perspective.
You can read more about the backstory here.
Over the past 18 months, there has been a changing of the guard, and that phrase has taken on much more of a figurative meaning in my life—what started out as no sidebars on my website has turned into the desire to live an authentic, intentional, and simpler life.
As we’ve continued to grow the community, the challenge for me has always been, “How do I help inspire and encourage others to do the same?”
One thing I’ve seen is six areas of my life—and in the life of others who’ve shared their stories here—were consistently being cluttered: Digital, Finances, Home, Life, Mind, and Work.
Every day, more stuff comes into our lives: stuff in our houses, stuff on our calendars, stuff in our hearts. All that stuff gets in the way of where we really want to go and who we really want to be—it’s time to make a change.
After I realized these ongoing patterns, I decided to do something about it—something I did initially to help in my own life, but realized it was also an opportunity to help you in yours.
I created a 30-day email course to help you design a simple life.
Here is a brief overview of the six areas that are covered:
1. Digital. Simplifying your digital life can help you find a healthy balance between screen time and the rest of the time.
2. Finances. The freedom from anxiety over money can be life-changing. Learn how being frugal opens you up to more.
3. Home. The clutter in your home doesn’t just make a mess, it creates distraction in your mind and stress in your life.
4. Life. A simple life is more than just owning less. It’s about having time and energy for the people that matter.
5. Mind. Simplicity for the heart and soul is about listening for what matters in life, and letting go of everything else.
6. Work. When you simplify, you become more productive and happier. You open up space for your creativity to thrive.
So here’s my challenge to you …
For just $15, you can take the first step towards an awesome life.
If your calendar is full, if your inbox is overflowing, if every time you open that closet door, things rain down on your head: we understand. We’ve been there.
Every morning for 30 days you’ll receive an email with words of encouragement along with recommended reading and a daily challenge. You’ll have access to our private Facebook group and can experience this journey with others.
Here’s what Joshua Becker, founder of Becoming Minimalist, has to say:
“No Sidebar has such a creative view of minimalism. I highly recommend their 30-day course.”
What’s more important? A couple of lattes from Starbucks, buying a new shirt that might get lost in your closet, or accepting this challenge and taking a step towards happiness and the type of life you’ve been longing for?
Just think of it as a (very small) investment in your well-being.
If you’re not satisfied, we have a 7-day money back guarantee. Just let us know and we’ll issue a refund no questions asked.
